Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The deck aims to assemble repeatable sacrifice engines using low-cost recursive fodder like Bloodghast, Reassembling Skeleton, and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia to fuel Sephiroth's draw triggers and drain opponents. By Turn 5, the deck transforms Sephiroth into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, generating an unremovable emblem that drains 1 life from target opponent whenever any creature dies. Simultaneously, asymmetric edict effects like Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician lock opponents out of creature combat while generating massive card velocity. The deck accelerates into late-game mana through Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and Crypt Ghast, finishing games around Turn 7 with devastating finishers such as Torment of Hailfire, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Bolas's Citadel, or mass Living Death swings.
