Deck overview

High Perfect Morcant is an Elf-ball commander that uses its "blight" trigger to turn every Elf entering into -1/-1 pressure that can be converted by Flourishing Defenses into an army. The primary plan is to accelerate with mana dorks, flood with Elf tokens from Imperious Perfect, Lathril, and Tyvar Kell, then convert the wide board into lethal mana for Exsanguinate or a Banner of Kinship alpha strike. Secondary lines use Shaman of the Pack plus recursion and Lathril's ten-Elf activation to finish sagging opponents. Morcant serves as the -1/-1 engine and proliferate outlet; Lathril is a de facto subcommander. There is no double-faced commander at the helm, though Trystan offers a self-contained recursion/value subtheme.
