Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Kaalia, Zenith Seeker as an efficient, low-mana value engine in the command zone. Unlike her predecessor, Zenith Seeker does not cheat cards into play directly, but instead enters on Turn 2 or 3 to refill the hand with potent Angels, Demons, and Dragons. The 99 features multiple cheat mechanisms including Sneak Attack, Kaalia of the Vast, and targeted reanimation, supported by haste enablers like Lightning Greaves and Samut, Hazoret's Champion. Once deployed, the deck leverages compounding damage doublers such as Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Archfiend of Despair, and Twinflame Tyrant alongside extra-combat threats like Aurelia, the Warleader and Bloodthirster to close games rapidly. A formidable suite of protective spells including Grand Abolisher, Teferi's Protection, and Flawless Maneuver safeguards vulnerable setup turns against interaction.
