Deck overview

Cloud, Midgar Mercenary helms a Mono-White Equipment and Historic combo deck that blends aggressive equipment value with resilient artifact recursion loops. Cloud guarantees access to key Equipment on enter, doubling equipment triggers to rapidly accelerate card flow through Skullclamp, Mask of Memory, and Adaptive Omnitool. While Cloud can pressure opponents with doubled combat triggers from the Swords cycle and Bloodforged Battle-Axe, the primary win condition centers on compact historic recursion engines powered by Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and Krark-Clan Ironworks. Paired with sac outlets like Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Altar and recurring creatures such as Myr Retriever and 0-cost constructs, the deck generates infinite mana and draws its library with Skullclamp to finish the game instantly via Walking Ballista or Aetherflux Reservoir. A deep package of 9 low-cost reanimation spells guarantees rapid recovery from board wipes, while Silence, Voice of Victory, and Ranger-Captain of Eos shield combo turns from opposing interaction.
