Draconic Destruction v1 by AtlasKennedy

Format: Commander

Commander: Atarka, World Render

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a classic Gruul Dragon tribal battlecruiser helmed by Atarka, World Render. The plan is to ramp aggressively in the early turns, deploy a steady stream of large flying Dragons, and then use Atarka's double-strike trigger to turn a wide board of attackers into a lethal, overwhelming swing. The deck runs no infinite combos - it wins through pure combat inevitability, backed by the ETB reach of Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas, which convert each new Dragon into direct damage. Secondary value comes from Savage Ventmaw's attack mana and the wheels of Dragon Mage and Runehorn Hellkite. It is a slow, telegraphed build: it ramps for several turns, deploys one big Dragon at a time, and only truly threatens the table once Atarka lands alongside a few attackers.
