Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov pillowfort and attrition strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting opposing creatures with cheap debuffs and goad effects such as Darksteel Mutation, Cooped Up, and Ghoulish Impetus. These Auras trigger Eriette's static ability, preventing enchanted threats from attacking you while forcing them to pressure your opponents. At each end step, Eriette drains each opponent and gains life equal to the total number of Auras you control. The deck compounds this life disparity through token producers like Archon of Sun's Grace, defensive shields like Flickering Ward, and lifegain payoffs including Aetherflux Reservoir. An alternate instant-win condition exists through the two-card synergy of Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Enduring Tenacity. The deck excels at grinding out creature-based pods under a wall of protection and inexorable life drain.
