[Obeka] Can you Keep Up? by Tom13720

Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Splitter of Seconds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Obeka, Splitter of Seconds is the engine and the payoff: the deck wants to give her menace, haste, or unblockability, deal combat damage, and convert the resulting extra upkeeps into repeated upkeep triggers. The primary plan is a Voltron-trigger build: equip Obeka with Embercleave, hit for double-strike damage, then let Courts, Bonehoard Dracosaur, and Dragonmaster Outcast drain, mill, or create token armies during each bonus upkeep. The Monarch subtheme is the main finisher, with the Initiative/dungeon package adding card advantage, Treasure, and 5/5 Dragons. Karlach, Fury of Avernus in the 99 acts as a hidden partner by adding a second combat, doubling Obeka trigger opportunities.
