Deck overview

Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos leads an Orzhov Phyrexian tribal deck that synergizes Incubator token generation, proliferate mechanics, and aristocrat attrition. The primary strategy focuses on establishing Brimaz on Turn 4, followed by deploying synergistic Phyrexian creatures and artifact spells on Turn 5 to generate and amass large Incubator tokens. By sacrificing fodder or trading creatures in combat, Brimaz triggers end-step proliferation to rapidly scale the counters on Incubators, poison counters, and +1/+1 counters across the board. On Turn 6, the deck transforms these Incubators into a formidable army of oversized Phyrexian artifact creatures or deploys game-shifting Praetors like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Darksteel Splicer. The deck closes games around Turn 9 through scaling combat damage and incidental drain from Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and Scheming Aspirant. While resilient through high creature density and strong standalone bombs, the list remains vulnerable to mass board wipes and lacks tutors for fast combo finishes.
