Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Winter, Cynical Opportunist as a repeatable, delirium-based reanimation engine. It fills the graveyard rapidly using efficient self-mill, dredge, and targeted tutors like Entomb, Buried Alive, and Life from the Loam. Once four distinct card types enter the graveyard, Winter reanimates devastating high-impact permanents such as Archon of Cruelty, The Gitrog Monster, and Sheoldred, Whispering One directly onto the battlefield at the end of turn. The deck transitions into a lethal win condition through mass reanimation with Living Death or direct table-wide life loss using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Syr Konrad, the Grim paired with graveyard-scaling behemoths like Golgari Grave-Troll and Boneyard Wurm. Strong land recursion through Crucible of Worlds and Ramunap Excavator guarantees continuous mana velocity, while efficient removal like Assassin's Trophy and Abrupt Decay disrupts opposing plans.
