Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black artifact aristocrats strategy commanded by Doctor Doom. The game plan revolves around generating wide boards of artifact creature tokens, leveraging Doctor Doom's self-protection and end-step card draw, and converting dying artifacts into incremental life drain. Supported by synergistic pieces such as Marionette Apprentice, Disciple of the Vault, and Agent of the Iron Throne, every token created doubles as fodder for sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar. While the deck includes high-power top-end threats such as Bolas's Citadel, Myr Battlesphere, and an infinite reanimation loop via Nim Deathmantle, its operational speed is paced by a traditional 38-land mana base with modest early ramp. This places engine assembly on Turn 6 and lethal pressure on Turn 7, closing games across two combat cycles by Turn 9.
