Grolnok, the Omnivore

Format: Commander

Commander: Grolnok, the Omnivore

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grolnok, the Omnivore is a self-mill value engine that rewards Frog attacks. Each attacking Frog mills three, and any permanent milled is exiled with a croak counter so you can play it later. The main plan mills your entire library with Cephalid Illusionist plus Lightning Greaves, Hermit Druid, Leveler, or Thought Lash, then wins with Thassa's Oracle, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, or Laboratory Maniac. Backup lines use Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy with Pemmin's Aura or Freed from the Real on Birds of Paradise or Bloom Tender for infinite mana into Thrasios or Kinnan. Thassa's Oracle is the hidden commander that actually ends games.
