New Untitled Deck by theundyingcrystal

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is built to convert Treasure tokens into mana and damage around Smaug the Magnificent. Smaug attacks for damage equal to Treasures, so the primary plan is to generate a large Treasure pile with attack triggers, draw spells, and Dragon payoffs, then either finish with Smaug's repeatable trigger or a copied/tripled Chandra's Ignition. The secondary plan is an extra-combat engine: Aggravated Assault, Ancient Copper Dragon, and The Reaver Cleaver create effectively unlimited combat steps. Hellkite Tyrant and Knuckles the Echidna are alternate artifact-count wins. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as a hidden commander, tutoring Dragons and artifacts by sacrificing Treasures. The deck accelerates quickly but can stumble against artifact/enchantment hate.
