Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Golgari Elfball strategy commanded by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The primary game plan accelerates low-cost mana dorks on Turns 1–2, deploys Lathril on Turn 3, and begins generating exponential Elf Warrior tokens through combat damage on Turn 4. The deck leverages scaling mana engines like Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, and Growing Rites of Itlimoc to fuel decisive finishers on Turn 5, including Craterhoof Behemoth, repeated Ezuri, Renegade Leader overruns, and Kindred Summons. In addition to wide combat attacks, Lathril's activated tap ability provides an alternate burn route to drain 10 life per turn cycle. A compact secondary win condition is present via Witherbloom Apprentice and Chain of Smog, providing an instant-speed infinite drain combo. The deck protects its board through Heroic Intervention, Selfless Safewright, and Allosaurus Shepherd, while running efficient spot removal to contest critical opposing threats.
