Zimone's X's by user6718241

Commander: Zimone, Infinite Analyst

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Simic X-spell +1/+1 counters strategy helmed by Zimone, Infinite Analyst. The core game plan is to deploy Zimone early, then chain X-cost spells-hydras, draw spells, and proliferate effects-to rapidly accumulate counters on Zimone and the board while reducing the cost of each subsequent X-spell. The deck leverages counter doublers like Unbound Flourishing and Innkeeper's Talent to accelerate growth, and aims to win through either Simic Ascendancy reaching 20 growth counters, or overwhelming combat damage from massive hydras made unblockable via Herald of Secret Streams or Rogue's Passage. The deck is a midrange value engine that builds incremental advantage but lacks a compact fast combo, relying on sustained pressure.
