Format: Commander

Commander: Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph leads a spell-slinging burn deck that turns minor pings into lethal damage. Ghyrson triggers whenever another source deals exactly one damage, immediately dealing two additional damage to the same target. The deck uses low-cost group-slug pingers like Kessig Flamebreather, Firebrand Archer, and Coruscation Mage alongside symmetrical sweepers like End the Festivities and Blazing Volley to control the board and burn all opponents simultaneously. Secondary win conditions include assembling an infinite draw-and-damage loop using Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind paired with Curiosity or Tandem Lookout, or unleashing storm sequences with Grapeshot.
