Commander: Brenard, Ginger Sculptor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Brenard, Ginger Sculptor leads a Bant token-ramp deck that fuses the Food and Golem tribes into a single midrange value engine. The plan is straightforward: ramp into Brenard, then chain Splicer cards whose ETBs create Golem tokens, with Brenard's global +2/+2 trample anthem turning every Food and Golem into a legitimate threat. His death-replacement ability is the engine's heart - nontoken creatures that die return as 1/1 Food Golem copies retaining all their abilities, so multiple Splicer lords compound into a wide, evasion-laden army. Populate effects (Growing Ranks, Rootborn Defenses, Splicer's Skill) and Food multipliers (Peregrin Took, Samwise Gamgee, Rosie Cotton of South Lane) break parity, while anthems like Tempered Steel and Urza, Prince of Kroog push the board over the top. The deck wins through combat - typically an overloaded Rise and Shine converting every Food and Clue into attackers, or a huge Night of the Sweets' Revenge pump - and contains no infinite combos, relying on token mass and inevitability.
