Deck overview

This Esper deck focuses on Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, leveraging extensive topdeck manipulation to cheat high-cost odd-mana spells directly onto the battlefield. The early game establishes mana development through utility rocks and arranges the top of the library with cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter. Once Yennett attacks on turn 5, it free-casts devastating game-warping bombs such as In Garruk's Wake, Cabal Conditioning, Blazing Archon, and Sephara, Sky's Blade. The mid-to-late game converts these cheated threats into massive asymmetric board states, wiping opposing boards and stripping enemy hands while advancing a lethal aerial clock. While the deck possesses immense value generation and high single-spell impact, it relies heavily on keeping its commander in play and attacking without disruption.
