Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Villain typal midrange strategy helmed by Thanos, the Mad Titan, leveraging an extensive Gate-based mana engine and deep connive synergies. The early turns focus on establishing color fixing and ramp through Gates such as Gond Gate, Baldur's Gate, and land search spells. In the midgame, the deck deploys synergistic Villain creatures like Madame Hydra, Leader, Super-Genius, and Prowler, Clawed Thief that generate creature tokens, filter cards, and distribute +1/+1 counters. Thanos, the Mad Titan serves as a pivotal mid-to-late game stabilizer and board-control threat, using his Power-up ability to selectively wipe odd or even mana value opposing creatures while maintaining your board parity. Victory is achieved through wide, buffed Villain combat waves amplified by Absorbing Man and Titania, Basilisk Gate, or tall deathtouch threats. Supported by a robust suite of six counterspells and targeted removal, the deck grinds out opponents with resilient card velocity and superior combat presence.
