Format: Commander

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Henzie "Toolbox" Torre is a Jund blitz engine that trades a creature's mana cost for haste and an end-step sacrifice that draws a card. The primary plan is to chain blitzed 4-8 mana fatties into sacrifice outlets, converting their power into direct damage via Jarad, Ziatora, Fling effects, and Stalking Vengeance while refueling from the death triggers. Recursion from Eternal Witness, Regrowth, and Riveteers Ascendancy reuses those value pieces. A secondary combat beatdown line uses Doors of Durin and Ognis's treasures to cheat in extra hasty attackers. Jarad is the deck's true finisher, turning any large sacrifice into table-wide damage; without it the deck wins by grinding out incremental damage.
