LORD OF RIOTS real deck by user3945426

Format: Commander

Commander: Rakdos, Lord of Riots

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos, Lord of Riots "pain" deck built around one simple loop: deal damage to opponents early and often, then use Rakdos's cost reduction to dump enormous Eldrazi and demons onto the board for a fraction of their mana value. The damage suite is deep - pingers like Spear Spewer, Nettle Drone, and Thermo-Alchemist, plus burst spells like Flame Rift and Slagstorm, all feeding Rakdos's discount. A reanimation subtheme (Animate Dead, Living Death, Beacon of Unrest, Victimize, Dread Return, Orcus, Prince of Undeath) and cheat effects (Sneak Attack, Quicksilver Amulet) provide alternate deployment. Primary wins are Eldrazi combat beatdown (Pathrazer of Ulamog, Void Winnower, It That Betrays, Blightsteel Colossus), the infinite-damage Ancestral Statue + Bontu's Monument loop, and the one-card Tree of Perdition life-exchange.
