Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Dimir control deck focuses on self-mill and graveyard accumulation to transform Emet-Selch into Hades, Sorcerer of Eld. In the early game, you loot, mill, and disrupt opposing threats using cheap countermagic and targeted removal. Once your graveyard reaches fourteen cards, Emet-Selch transforms into Hades, allowing you to cast cards directly from your graveyard each turn. From this commanding position, you leverage massive recursive advantage, cheat out expensive threats like Ulamog, the Defiler and Shard of the Void Dragon, cast powerful extra turn spells, or drain the table with an overwhelming Exsanguinate powered by The Core.
