Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, utilizing fast mana rocks, rituals, and early digging to deploy Tony Stark and transform him by Turn 4. Upon transforming into The Invincible Iron Man, his combat ability bypasses high casting and equip costs by putting monumental Equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Aettir and Priwen, and Genji Glove directly onto the battlefield attached to him. Backed by free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, the deck quickly eliminates opponents through lethal commander damage and extra combat steps from cards like Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Aggravated Assault. Alternate win conditions like Niv-Mizzet, Parun paired with Curiosity provide potent non-combat redundancy.
