Deck overview

This deck is a non-green landfall battlecruiser strategy commanded by Nissa, Leyline Tamer. The primary objective is to accelerate mana using rocks, fetchlands, and rituals into a Turn 6 Nissa deployment. Once Nissa resolves, any land drop draws a card and cheats a massive creature straight from the library onto the battlefield. The creature suite consists of game-warping Angels, Demons, and Dragons such as Archon of Cruelty, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Archfiend of Despair, and Serra's Emissary. Topdeck sculptors like Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, and Brainsurge ensure the most devastating creature is cheated immediately. The deck applies massive aerial combat damage, life-loss doubling, and asymmetric attrition to overpower the table by Turn 8. Backup lines run through Kaalia of the Vast and reanimation effects, providing strong resilience against single-target disruption.
