Format: Commander

Commander: Pantlaza, Sun-Favored

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Pantlaza, Sun-Favored is the engine and finisher of a Naya Dinosaur battle-cruiser deck. The deck's primary plan is to ramp into Pantlaza, use its once-per-turn discover trigger to chain Dinosaurs into play, then turn that board into trampling attacks with Palani's Hatcher and Thundering Spineback. Secondary paths include a Dinosaur token army from Palani's Hatcher and Avenger of Zendikar, plus the one-shot pump of Overwhelming Encounter. Pantlaza remains the sole commander; Kaheera and Kutzil are support, not hidden commanders. All win lines are combat-based; there are no infinite loops. The deck interacts mainly through creature removal and mass artifact/enchantment destruction, and is vulnerable to stack-based strategies.
