Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Azorius typal aggro-midrange strategy led by Kastral, the Windcrested. The game plan revolves around deploying inexpensive, evasive Bird creatures during the opening turns, establishing mana velocity through low-curve rocks and cost reducers, and resolving Kastral on Turn 4. Once Kastral is active, dealing combat damage across multiple opponents generates up to three modular triggers per combat, rapidly drawing cards, distributing +1/+1 counters, or reanimating fallen avian threats directly to the battlefield. The deck converts this compounding aerial advantage into a decisive win between Turns 6 and 7 using explosive combat multipliers such as Akroma's Will, True Conviction, and Gravitational Shift. Its primary structural strength lies in its outstanding suite of proactive and reactive protection spells—most notably Clever Concealment, Flawless Maneuver, and Flare of Fortitude—which safeguard its creature-dense board from sweepers while maintaining relentless tempo against the table.
