Deck overview

This is a low-to-mid curve Orzhov lifegain midrange deck helmed by Lurrus of the Dream-Den. The plan floods the board with cheap lifelinkers and ETB/death value creatures, converts life gain into permanent board growth via counters and Class levels, and grinds through attrition with dense recursion. Lurrus of the Dream-Den is a flexible recursion engine rather than a hard win condition-once per turn it recasts a mana-value-2-or-less permanent from the graveyard, pairing especially well with Skullclamp, cheap auras/equipment, and sacrifice loops. Primary wins come from combat: grown bodies (Ajani's Pridemate, Celestial Unicorn, Twinblade Paladin, Exemplar of Light, Light of Promise) plus evasion auras and deathtouch equipment. Secondary pressure includes extort/drain from Blind Obedience and Vengeful Bloodwitch. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins by out-valuing the table and closing with combat.
