Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon Tribal stompy strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's Eminence ability to reduce the cost of all Dragon spells directly from the command zone, pairing this discount with an extensive package of two-mana ramp spells, signets, and specialized cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman. By Turn 4, the deck establishes an operational draw or mana engine, rapidly transitioning on Turn 5 to massive flying beaters such as Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Hellkite Courser. Once attacking, The Ur-Dragon generates card advantage and cheats expensive permanents directly into play. While the deck boasts immense aerial combat power and resilient land ramp, it lacks dedicated instant-speed protection and universal haste enablers, leaving large creatures vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and spot removal. Nevertheless, high threat density and strong standalone dragons allow the deck to rebuild quickly and close games by Turn 7.
