Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck is built around Vivi Ornitier, transforming cheap noncreature spells into a lethal damage engine and burst mana reservoir. The core strategy hinges on equipping or enchanting Vivi with damage-triggered draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, each cheap cantrip draws three cards, chaining through the library, netting mana with cost reducers and Storm-Kiln Artist, and burning all three opponents to zero in a single turn. The deck is supported by efficient low-cost interaction, robust redirection spells like Deflecting Swat, and an alternate game-ending combo in Niv-Mizzet, Parun.
