Counter Removal Bullshi by user7825563

Format: Commander

Commander: Glarb, Calamity's Augur

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Glarb is a Sultai top-deck control/value commander. The deck looks at the top card at all times, uses surveil to arrange it, and cheats on mana by casting mana value 4+ spells from the top. Around that engine it builds a counter-manipulation shell: sagas, -1/-1 and +1/+1 counters, time counters, and token copies. Xavier Sal acts as a hidden commander, populating tokens and proliferating counters to race sagas. The primary kill is Marit Lage from Dark Depths using Vampire Hexmage, Aether Snap, or Thespian's Stage; a secondary path is a giant board of flyers or an arbitrarily large Hexavus. It grinds, disrupts, and wins through one big haymaker rather than fast combo.
