Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Vivi Ornitier that blends Wizard/Otter value, noncreature-cast triggers, and storm finishes. Every noncreature spell grows Vivi, pings the table, and fuels redundant damage engines such as Coruscation Mage, Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch, and a leveled Artist's Talent. Harmonic Prodigy doubles those Wizard triggers while token makers (Talrand, Sky Summoner, Young Pyromancer, Stormsplitter, Stormchaser's Talent) and prowess bodies convert the same spells into a combat clock. The primary win is noncombat ping damage backed by a Grapeshot storm turn; Past in Flames and Lier, Disciple of the Drowned recycle the instant/sorcery suite for the decisive chain. Vivi also converts its power into a once-per-turn mana burst that underwrites the big turn. The deck plays as a midrange spell engine that snowballs once a couple of trigger pieces stick.
