Swarm of the Doomhive by Kawaiiguy4465

Format: Commander

Commander: Vishgraz, the Doomhive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vishgraz, the Doomhive commands an aggressive Abzan toxic and proliferate swarm deck. The primary game plan is to infect every opponent with early poison counters using low-cost creatures like Blightbelly Rat and Skrelv, Defector Mite, or global triggers from Ichor Rats. Once opponents are poisoned, the deck deploys Vishgraz to flood the battlefield with Phyrexian Mite tokens and grow the commander into a lethal threat. Value engines like Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa and Contaminant Grafter leverage the corrupted mechanic, while blink spells repeatedly trigger enter-the-battlefield abilities. The deck closes games either by proliferating counters to ten or overrunning defenses with Triumph of the Hordes.
