[Primer] Innistrad Alliance - Thalia & Gitrog EDH (duplicated from Hydrax) by Lawtair

Format: Commander

Commander: Thalia and The Gitrog Monster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Abzan land-combo/landfall strategist deck built to bury opponents in raw land count and graveyard recursion. Thalia and The Gitrog Monster provides an extra land drop every turn, taxes opponents' creatures and nonbasic lands, and replaces sacrifices with card draw - pairing perfectly with "lands matter" engine cards like Ramunap Excavator, Ancient Greenwarden, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, and Exploration. The deck's primary kill is a massive landfall board (Scute Swarm, Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer, Titania, Protector of Argoth) finished by Craterhoof Behemoth or Moonshaker Cavalry. Secondary wins include commander damage from The Gitrog Monster itself, Ashaya, Soul of the Wild + Eldrazi Conscription-style beatdown, and the value plus inevitability from the locked recursion loop of lands.
