Deck overview

This Sultai deck helmed by The Wise Mothman combines aggressive mill and +1/+1 counter midrange engines with compact, format-defining combo finishes. The primary win condition centers on the deterministic Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation pairing, which can be rapidly fetched using a dense tutor package including Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Diabolic Intent, and Spellseeker. Redundant win conditions include the infinite creature mana engine of Food Chain with Misthollow Griffin or Eternal Scourge, as well as the Cephalid Illusionist and Shuko Breakfast line. Defensively, the deck operates with premier free and low-mana interaction such as Fierce Guardianship, Deadly Rollick, Pact of Negation, and Flusterstorm to protect its execution windows. While The Wise Mothman, Danny Pink, and Rhystic Study provide potent incremental card flow, the deck's primary goal is accelerating mana and tutors toward a Turn 4 protected combo victory.
