Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros burn engine helmed by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut. The strategy revolves around granting Ragost lifelink using cheap Auras, Equipment, or counters, then leveraging its ability to sacrifice artifacts to deal 3 damage to each opponent. Because dealing noncombat damage with lifelink gains 9 life per activation (3 damage across 3 opponents), Ragost triggers its own end-step untap clause at the end of every player's turn. This allows the deck to activate Ragost on each opponent's turn, burning the entire table for up to 12 damage per table rotation while generating an astronomical life buffer. The deck supports this game plan with a hyper-dense package of 2-CMC mana rocks, cantripping artifact fodder, efficient white spot removal, and an extensive suite of 1-mana protection spells to ensure Ragost survives across multiple rotations to close the game on Turn 6.
