Deck overview

This Boros deck, led by Neyali, Suns' Vanguard, is a dedicated token swarm strategy that overwhelms opponents through combat damage and card advantage. Neyali turns modest token generators into lethal threats by granting attacking tokens double strike while accumulating cards in exile whenever tokens attack opponents. The deck curve progresses from low-cost token producers like Loyal Apprentice, Legion Warboss, and Battle Screech into Neyali on Turn 4. From there, mid-game anthems and force multipliers like Goldnight Commander, Adriana, Captain of the Guard, Otharri, Suns' Glory, and Heroic Reinforcements turn 1/1 tokens into lethal damage sources. Defensive staples like Clever Concealment and Flawless Maneuver shield the board against board wipes, while asymmetric sweepers like Hour of Reckoning clear opposing defenses. The deck operates smoothly on-curve, providing relentless pressure and card flow without relying on fragile infinite combos.
