Deck overview

This Esper list helmed by Alela, Artful Provocateur operates as a high-powered combo-control deck that combines efficient artifact/enchantment synergies with an infinite win condition. The primary victory route leverages Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal alongside nonland mana sources generating three or more mana to produce infinite mana and infinite untaps. This infinite mana fuels outlets like Blue Sun's Zenith to force all opponents to draw their entire libraries, or Oona, Queen of the Fae to exile all opposing libraries on the spot. Backing this compact win condition is a dense suite of premier 0-2 CMC interaction, fast mana rocks, and potent card advantage engines such as Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and Kindred Discovery. If the primary combo is impeded, the deck seamlessly transitions into an evasive token swarm strategy using Alela's Faerie generation, tribal lords, and equipment to close out games through combat damage.
