Commander: Roon of the Hidden Realm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Roon of the Hidden Realm is a Bant blink value deck. Its primary plan is to establish Roon, use his tap ability to repeatedly exile and return creatures, and multiply enters-the-battlefield triggers with Panharmonicon, Ephemerate, and Cathars' Crusade. The main finishing line is Hornet Queen plus token/buffs; Tishana, Giant Ankheg, and Tamiyo's emblem are secondary ways to close. Helga, Skittish Seer is the closest hidden commander, accelerating the deck's big creature spells. The DFC legends such as Aang and Brigid are flexible utility pieces rather than the deck's focus. The deck wins through incremental combat, so it is durable but not fast.
