Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary plan accelerates mana during the opening turns using cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and rocks like Fire Diamond to cast Lathliss ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Once Lathliss is on the battlefield, casting subsequent Dragons triggers her ability to produce 5/5 flying Dragon tokens, quickly creating an overwhelming aerial army. Enchantments like Dragon Tempest and creatures like Scourge of Valkas convert these Dragon entries into immediate direct damage and haste, enabling the deck to pressure life totals without waiting a turn. The deck protects its commander and critical threats using cost-effective redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend. It wins primarily through massive aerial combat damage boosted by Lathliss's team firebreathing ability, closing out the table across two to three combat steps.
