Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jund combat and token strategy led by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, efficient haste creatures during the opening turns, then casting Ognis on Turn 4 to convert every attack into tapped Treasure tokens. These tokens accelerate mana, trigger powerful token amplifiers such as Xorn and Academy Manufactor, and feed robust card-draw engines like Professional Face-Breaker and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King. Once a critical mass of artifacts accumulates, the deck shifts from chip combat damage to lethal life drain using aristocrat-style payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Master, and Mayhem Devil. Alternatively, it closes games through explosive flying threats like Goldspan Dragon and Hellkite Charger or alternative win conditions like Revel in Riches. With natural resilience granted by universal haste, the deck maintains high tempo while pressuring opposing life totals from multiple angles.
