Deck overview

This is a mono-blue draw-and-token deck built around Minn, Wily Illusionist's "draw your second card" trigger. The core loop is straightforward: deploy one of the deck's many repeatable draw engines (Merfolk Looter and Thought Courier being the key enablers, since tapping them on your own turn creates the second draw), generate Illusion tokens, and then cash those tokens in - via Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar, or simple combat - to put expensive permanents onto the battlefield for free. The deck also has a surprisingly dense alternate-win package: Trisk-aidekaphile's exact-13-hand win, Thassa's Oracle with the Sea Gate Restoration self-mill, and Psychosis Crawler grinding the table down. Supporting the plan is a heavy countermagic suite and a small row of no-maximum-hand-size cards. The Illusion tokens scale through Krovikan Mist (a sometimes-massive unblockable attacker), and a copy-permanent package in Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Spark Double can duplicate the best draw engine - or the win condition itself.
