Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan accelerates mana during the opening turns using land ramp, mana rocks, and Dragon cost-reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman. On Turn 5, the deck deploys its commander to trigger its enter ability, digging eight cards deep to cheat a massive Dragon onto the battlefield for free. High-synergy payoffs such as Atarka, World Render, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, and Thrakkus the Butcher quickly multiply the board's offensive output through double strike, token copying, and power doubling. Supported by haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Rhythm of the Wild, the deck applies overwhelming aerial pressure to eliminate all three opponents across Turns 6 and 7. While the deck boasts high redundancy and potent engine recovery, its lack of countermagic and instant-speed board protection leaves it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and fast combo strategies.
