Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Changeling Kindred strategy led by Jegantha, the Wellspring. The core game plan revolves around combining changeling creatures and universal type-shifting permanents—such as Maskwood Nexus, Arcane Adaptation, and Rukarumel, Biologist—with powerful tribal lords from across Magic's history. By unifying all creature types, the deck triggers high-impact abilities from Slivers, Dragons, Elves, Dwarves, and Scarecrows simultaneously. Key payoffs include Reaper King for continuous board control, Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest for direct burn, and Coat of Arms alongside Cloudshredder Sliver for massive, evasive combat finishes. While the deck relies on a dense permanent presence and faces slight tempo friction from tapped fixing lands, its high redundancy and explosive mid-game turns allow it to dominate the battlefield and eliminate the entire table in short order.
