Deck overview

This Rakdos deck uses Ingris Stingerquill as an aggressive burn and poison engine. Whenever a creature attacks, Ingris makes that creature deal 1 damage to each opponent. Because the attacking creature itself deals this damage, giving an infect creature the opportunity to attack deals poison counters directly to all opponents simultaneously upon declaring attackers, completely bypassing blockers. The deck layers this mechanic with low-cost token generators such as Bitterblossom and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, noncombat damage amplifiers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and a suite of cheap infect creatures. Drawing cards through Black Market Connections and Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, the deck builds wide boards quickly and converts combat steps into table-wide noncombat damage. While vulnerable to sweepers, its dense redundancy enables fast, synchronized table eliminations by Turn 6.
