Myrel, Shield of Argive by yang

Format: Commander

Commander: Myrel, Shield of Argive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Myrel, Shield of Argive leads a mono-white Soldier token deck that turns one attack trigger into an overwhelming board. The core plan is to resolve Myrel early, attack to create Soldier tokens, then multiply them with Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation. The deck closes with Cathars' Crusade, Porcelain Gallery, or Moonshaker Cavalry, turning dozens of tokens into a one-shot alpha strike. Myrel's turn-lock ('opponents can't cast spells or activate abilities during your turn') plus instant-speed protection makes the kill hard to disrupt. Secondary lines using Brimaz, Captain of the Watch, Mobilization, and Basri Ket grind out value if Myrel is answered.
