Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and artifact token swarm strategy commanded by Saheeli, Jewel of Avishkar. Its game plan centers on deploying Saheeli and chaining low-cost noncreature spells—such as mana rocks, cantrips, and interactive countermagic—to generate a wide board of flying Thopter tokens granted passive haste. The deck leverages mana accelerators like Storm-Kiln Artist and Relic of Legends alongside cost reducers to maintain tempo while casting multiple spells each turn. Once a critical mass of evasive tokens is established, the deck transitions into a rapid win condition using team-wide anthem and overrun effects, notably Gravitational Shift, Balmor, Battlemage Captain, Cleaver Riot, and Craterclaw Colossus, or scaling direct damage with Crackle with Power. The list includes strong interaction and counterspells such as Force of Will and Counterflux to protect its key pieces and disrupt opposing game plans, although it remains vulnerable to mass sweeper effects.
