Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and proliferation engine commanded by Zimone, Paradox Sculptor. The strategy accelerates through low-cost land ramp on Turns 1 and 2 to cast Zimone on Turn 3. On Turn 4, Zimone begins distributing counters in combat and doubling them using her tap ability. The deck rapidly scales these counters into game-winning pressure on Turn 5 through multiplicative payoffs like Branching Evolution, Kalonian Hydra, Herald of Secret Streams, or Simic Ascendancy. Opponents face lethal unblockable combat damage or an Ascendancy upkeep trigger by Turn 6. Defensive cards like Ripples of Potential and Heroic Intervention shield key permanents from removal and sweepers. Backup win conditions include alternate counter engines like Vorel of the Hull Clade and an infinite colorless mana combo with Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy and Basalt Monolith.
