Deck overview

This deck is a hybrid strategy that conceals a devastating colorless Eldrazi package behind a resilient Mardu Death and Taxes shell. Commanded by Queen Marchesa, the deck uses early turns to establish defensive deterrents such as Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Ghostly Prison, and Palace Jailer to secure the monarch and generate steady card advantage. Meanwhile, an extensive suite of low-cost mana rocks and premier black tutors sets up cheat enablers like Sneak Attack and Through the Breach. Starting on turn 5, the deck repeatedly cheats colossal Eldrazi titans like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Emrakul, the World Anew into play. These monsters dismantle opposing boards with annihilator triggers, hand disruption, and lethal combat damage. Backed by proactive protection pieces like Grand Abolisher and Deflecting Swat, the deck steadily crushes the table under overwhelming physical and resource pressure.
