Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet artifact midrange deck built around Iron Man, Titan of Innovation. Iron Man serves as a repeatable, attack-triggered pod engine in the command zone. Because Iron Man enters with haste, he immediately attacks to generate a Treasure token and trade a noncreature artifact for an artifact costing exactly one mana higher, placing it directly onto the battlefield tapped. Early turns are spent developing lands and mana rocks to deploy Iron Man on turn 4 or 5. Once active, the deck chains utility artifacts into formidable midrange engines like Simulacrum Synthesizer, Unwinding Clock, and Karn, Legacy Reforged. The endgame relies on overwhelming the table with towering threats, including Blightsteel Colossus, Cityscape Leveler, and scaling Construct tokens. While the deck possesses explosive value loops and excellent tutor capability, its reliance on incremental combat steps leaves it vulnerable to well-timed artifact sweepers.
