Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos goad and Treasure-attrition strategy helmed by Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and Agent of the Shadow Thieves. The primary plan accelerates into an early Baeloth on Turn 4 after casting the Background on Turn 2. When Baeloth attacks on Turn 5, the Background grants him a +1/+1 counter, deathtouch, and indestructible, raising his power to goad all opposing utility creatures and commanders. Goaded creatures are forced to attack other players, eliminating potential blockers, draining opposing life totals, and generating Treasure tokens whenever dying combatants perish. The pilot converts this accumulated mana advantage into game-ending threats by Turn 7, utilizing powerful finishers such as Super State, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, or a massive Exsanguinate. Supported by board sweepers and artifact synergies, the deck dictates combat flow while keeping its own life total safe.
