Deck overview

This deck is a Bant value engine commander deck led by Kellan, the Kid. Its strategy revolves around casting spells from exile, the graveyard, and the top of the library using mechanics like foretell, plot, adventure, and cascade. Whenever you cast a spell from outside your hand, Kellan cheats permanent cards with equal or lesser mana value from your hand directly onto the battlefield, or ramps extra lands. The early game focuses on deploying fast mana and banking spells in exile. By Turn 4, Kellan comes down alongside a pre-exiled spell to jumpstart mana velocity. On Turn 5, high-impact threats like Railway Brawler, Apex Devastator, and Kodama of the East Tree flood the board. The deck protects its engine using blink spells like Eerie Interlude and Glorious Protector, while Wonder grants flying evasion to close out the game through massive combat damage across two combat cycles.
